BRABUS Island Baku: What It Is, Where It Is, Who Is Building It, and Where It Stands

Read this article in Hebrew

Most people know BRABUS from the road: deep engine notes, dark paint, and a German workshop that makes fast cars faster. On the Caspian coast north of Baku, the same name now sits on something quieter. BRABUS Island is a residential project on the water inside Sea Breeze, and on the evening of May 22, 2026 it stepped into the light with its official launch. Here is what is being built, where, by whom, and where it stands today.

What BRABUS Island is

BRABUS Island is a BRABUS-branded residential project: 592 apartments and 16 twin villas across about 115,000 m². Layouts run from studios and one- to three-bedroom apartments to duplexes. Plans include a central pool, fitness and spa zones, and lounges. Full details live on the BRABUS Island page.

Where it is

The project sits inside Sea Breeze, the resort on the Caspian Sea in the Nardaran area, north of Baku, Azerbaijan. From there, the drive is about 20 to 25 minutes to central Baku and about 20 to 25 minutes to Heydar Aliyev International Airport. In the same resort, Marina Village is handing over apartments through 2026. More on the resort: Sea Breeze.

Who is building it

BRABUS Island brings together Tevakol Family, Sabah Investment Group, Reportage Properties, and the BRABUS brand. Tevakol Family are partners and developers in BRABUS Island. Sea Breeze itself was founded and is led by Emin Agalarov.

Tevakol Family is an Israeli family engineering and construction company, active in Azerbaijan since 2018. Tevakol Family are also partners and developers in Marina Village, in the same resort.

Where it stands

The official launch took place on May 22, 2026 at Elektra Hall in Sea Breeze, with BRABUS owner and CEO Constantin Buschmann on stage alongside Emin Agalarov and Sabah Investment Group founder Orkhan Mustafayev. Today BRABUS Island is under construction.

What the BRABUS name brings

BRABUS describes the project as bringing its "One-Second-Wow" idea to the Caspian shore. In its own words, the look is "sweeping curves, clean vertical lines and a dark, sophisticated material palette." The launch night put the twin villas and the island's design front and center. The rest you see in the lines, the materials, and the interiors.

Two timelines in one resort

Sea Breeze already works as a place to live, with residents, schools, a mall, and a hospital. That gives buyers two clocks to choose from. If you want keys sooner, Marina Village is handing over apartments through 2026. If you are planning further ahead, BRABUS Island is under construction. How foreigners and Israelis can buy

According to our Buyers FAQ, foreigners can own an apartment outright, and you do not have to live in Baku; confirm the details for your case with a notary or lawyer. You can start remotely: a short call about budget and apartment type, then specs, plans, and a video tour. The full path from Israel, from video tour to notary and keys, is in our remote-buy guide, and the common questions are answered in the Buyers FAQ. Before you call, you can model an example with the calculators: yield, payment plan, and purchase costs for foreigners, for illustration only. Prices depend on unit type, floor, and view.
